How Sinoah's Ark Began

Sinoah's love of teaching young children began in her childhood, after becoming an older sister. After years of teaching her four younger siblings everything she knew about, including dance and art, she knew she wanted to work with children in her future career. At age twelve, Sinoah began volunteering in her church nursery with children age 0-3, and this deepened her love for little ones. In her early twenties, Sinoah became a first time aunt, and made it her job to look after her two one year old nephews, as well as two other one year old children. After three months of this work, Sinoah knew that it was her calling to open a small daycare, to love, teach, and care for children age 1-5.

She has so many wonderful toys, and everything is extremely well-organized and comes out on a rotation so the kids feel like the items are fresh and exciting. "I would recommend Sinoah to anyone looking for childcare. She was incredible. My daughter absolutely loved going and she got to experience so many things that as a full time working mom I was unable to do at home. "Finding a quality person with whom I’d be comfortable caring for my children when circumstances sent me back to work and school seemed impossible...until Sinoah. She turned out to be a huge blessing in mine and my husband’s lives and became a well-loved fixture in our family! She was our nanny for over a year and I will always be thankful for her! She helped teach our children core values, honesty, and compassion for those around them. She brought them on many adventures, reinforced love of reading and was constantly up to some new craft or project, whether it was a huge cardboard box fort, sticker charts, paintings, or exploring nature. One of the characteristics I most appreciated about Sinoah was her desire and willingness to reinforce values in parenting that are most important to us. With most projects or adventures, Sinoah made sure to check that we were okay with her next idea and then sent fun video clips, photos, and stories to make sure We felt a part of the day she spent with our kids. I will always love Sinoah because of how she loved on our children! Thank you Sinoah Schmuland!!"
